How to care for your jewel: Selenite is a crystalline variety of the mineral gypsum. It is a very soft mineral which can be easily scratched, unless looked after very carefully. If placed in water, Selenite will revert to gypsum so treat this little treasure with lots of care, avoid water! Simply use a soft cloth to wipe if necessary.
